When your order leaves the kitchen and gets handed to the carrier, a tracking email goes out to the address on your order automatically. Most customers see it within an hour or two of their box being picked up — usually the same afternoon for Tuesday shipments. If you don't spot it right away, a quick check of your spam folder catches it most of the time.
How the tracking works
We ship frozen via FedEx 2-Day or UPS 2-Day Air depending on your address. The moment the carrier scans your box, that tracking number activates and the email goes out. From there, the carrier's site will show you each scan along the route.
A few things worth knowing:
- Carrier scans sometimes lag. The driver picks up a full load at once, and occasionally the scan doesn't register until they're back at the hub — which can be a few hours after the box left our dock. If your tracking link shows "label created" but no movement yet, give it until evening before worrying.
- Tuesday is our main ship day. Orders placed by Monday noon ET go out Tuesday and arrive Thursday in most of the country. If you ordered over the weekend, your tracking email will land Tuesday afternoon.
- Check the right inbox. The tracking email goes to whatever address you used at checkout. If you ordered as a guest or used a work email, look there first.
If it's been more than 24 hours and still nothing
That's the point where Elliot or Millie will want to take a look. Sometimes a box gets delayed at the dock, or a carrier scan just plain didn't happen. Either way, we'll track it down on our end and let you know what's going on.
