Gift cards from Pablo's are meant to be the easy gift — no guessing the flavor, no worrying about dietary stuff, just "here, go get yourself a pie." When one goes sideways (the email never showed up, the code got lost in a spam folder, or it just won't go through at checkout), we can sort it out quickly. In most cases Millie or one of the team can resend the code, pull up the original, or issue a fresh one in the same day.
The code never arrived
This one's almost always a delivery hiccup — the gift card email has a habit of landing in spam or promotions tabs, especially with Gmail. Ask the recipient to check those folders first. If it's genuinely not there, email us with the buyer's name, the email address the card was sent to, and roughly when it was purchased. We'll look it up and resend it within a few hours.
If you bought the card as a surprise and used your email instead of the recipient's, that's easy to fix too — just let us know the right address and we'll forward it along.
The code got lost
No worries at all. We keep a record of every card issued. As long as you can give us the buyer's name or the email address on the original order, we can look up the code and send it again. It takes about as long as it takes Millie to pull up the order screen.
The code isn't working at checkout
A few things can cause this:
- Typos. The codes are case-sensitive and easy to misread — try copy-pasting directly from the email if you haven't already.
- The card was already used. If someone in the family beat you to it, we can check the balance.
- The card expired. Our gift cards are valid for two years from the date of purchase. If yours is older than that, email us — Pablo has been known to make exceptions for loyal customers.
- A site glitch. If the code looks right and it still won't go through, email us the code and what you're trying to order and we'll apply the credit manually.
What we need from you
To look up any gift card, it helps to have at least one of these:
- The buyer's name or email address
- The order confirmation number (starts with PP-)
- The gift card code itself, even if it's not working
Photos of the original email are welcome but not required.
